Powe of One

Don’t be scare to standout in the crowd.
Don’t be afraid to do something for the first time.
Taking a risk is easier when you know God is in control.
Live in the fate zone, not the safe zone.
Growth begins when we leave safe zone.

8 hours

Since we have 8 hours to fill, we fill 8 hours. If we had 15, we would fill 15. If we have an emergency and need to suddenly leave work in 2 hours but have pending deadlines, we miraculously complete those assignments in 2 hours.
Its amazing what we can achieve in 8 hours if we plan and priotize our work and then resolve to go about doing our things as planned.

Timing

For all of the most important things, the timing always sucks. Waiting for a good time to quit your job? The stars will never align and the traffic lights of life will never all are green at the same time. The universe doesn't conspire against you, but it doesn't go out of its way to line up all the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. "Someday" is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it's important to you and you want to do it "eventually," just do it and correct course along the way.
Time is always right to do what’s right!

Worries

Identify unnecessary worries. Practice the internal discipline of not allowing the mind to ruminate about them.

  1. If you trust in some kind of higher power, give your worries over to that power.
  2. Don’t keep your worries to yourself.
  3. Do something about them.
  4. Talk your worries out with a trusted friend, family member, or counselor.

Porras Principle

“Don’t believe in words, only believe in behaviors.” People judge your values and character based on the difference between your words and actions. Everyone is better off when deeds and testimony match.
As they say, actions speak louder than words. Makesure you walk the talk.

Doing Whats Right

In the area of moral values, most people know what's right and what's wrong. The key, however, is in actually doing the right thing. Likewise, most people know what they need to do. But the results can only come from actually doing it. It's not simple, but, like any new task, with practice it becomes easier and faster by doing it.
You accomplish things by doing, little by little, step by step.

Chinese proverb

I hear I forget, I see I remember, I do I understand…

Research shows that we forget 64% of what we listen within 24 hours and 98% within a week. So write notes, listen again and review them. Repetition is critical to success.

RPM

RPM equals to more power, just like in a race car. It’s a plan that gets you from where you are to where you want to go.

R = Results, what results we are after?
P = Purpose, why do we want it?
M = Map, what is our map to accomplish it? Your massive action plan, day to day activities.

The key is to come up with the why you want to do something, once you know the why you will figure out how you will do it.

Success Formula

I came across reading, pretty basic yet profound:

1. Know your outcome. Goal.
2. Take action to move towards your desired goals or outcome. Decide!
3. Willing to notice what you are getting from your actions. Are you getting closer or away from your goal? Assess.
4. If you see what u doing is not working, Change your approach, and try something else. Adaptability.

if you....

If you show up, you will be ahead of 85% of the people.
If you show up on time, you will be ahead of 90% of the people.
If you show up with a plan, you will be 95% of the people.
If you show up with a plan and then put into action....
well that i guess pretty much sums it up..

better day than good..

Become less controlling

A person who is controlling carries a great deal of stress, not because he/she is concerned with his/her own choices & behavior, but also in addition they think of others to behave & perform in certain way. Occasionally, we can influence other person, but we certainly can't force them to be certain way

Controlling people lack the willingness to allow other people to be fully themselves, give them space to be who they are, and to respect-really respect the fact that human beings are different.

The advantage of being less controlling is that people will feel easier and respected around your presence. Plus their will be less stress on you to feel the need to have people be the way to fit the image that you have of them..

Remember, Don't take yourself so damn serious (this is a link to previous post)

Exceptional Service

Life cycle of exceptional service goes through 4 phases. Each phase done perfectly will lead to transactional satisfaction, which would directly lead to future encounters and build customers loyalty.

Explore - Build awareness, rapport and understanding
Agree - Negotiate, understand clear terms & conditions and make mutual promise
Deliver - Do what you promise to do; create, deliver, produce, ship etc
Assure - Make sure all parties are fully satisfied, if not explore what needs to be then and then do it

wishing you good week ahead..

Critics & Doers

A non-doer is very often a critic, that is someone sitting back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically about how the doers are doing. It is easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk, change, & getting out of comfort zone.

As you look around your social group and see how much time is devoted toward criticism. Why? Because it is plain easy talking about how others are performing rather than performing yourself.

Could that be a problem around this part of the world? Are we too busy judging, criticizing, rather than doing what it takes to move toward coveted goal?

have an awsome day u all! Enjoy..

Behavior

a thought to think about..

You are not what you say. Behavior is a better measuring device than your words. What you do in your present moments is the only indicator of what you are capable of as a person.

wishing u better day than good!

What if

Hindsight is 20/20. Sometimes we look back on 1990s and wishing that If we had had more courage, only if we had stayed there longer, only if we had acceptted that opportunity. The fact of the matter is whats done is done and can't be undone. We can certainly learn from it and start making more courageous decision today or else in ten years, yet again be sitting here and saying what ifs.

Fortunately we still live in a world that's filled with opportunity, now more than ever. So better stop thinking about forever and start making the decisions today..

good week you all!
