If you were unfortunate enough to have a severely disadvantaged background, you can still make the changes in life to turn it around. It may take only one person to help you make the transition. An excellent coach, teacher, therapist, mentor or perhaps someone you admire, a role model. The only thing is that you have to do is you must have a desire and commitment to change yourself. Every journey starts with a desire, a decision to make that journey.
When you are ready to do so, the right people, circumstances will start showing up in your life. There's a saying "when a student is ready the teacher appears," is so true.

yeah indeed. they are just there to guide us but we ourselves need to do most part of it. brilliant words. :)
Oh, I do hope its true...
That saying is so true - especially in Reiki.
Very true Yazi:)) But we do not come across such real people right.
thanks all!
@priya - yeah i really didn't mean you will come across an actual person. but when one accepts and is willing to change the brain starts looking out for things opportunities to align with our desires.
I guess statement like
I can't afford it (you shut ur brain) vs.
How can I afford it (you kick start brain to lookout)
It's true - one person can enter your life and change it completely, inspiring change for the better. I know this because it happened to me.
It's like that old proverb that goes something like: When the student is ready the teacher will come.
