3 types of people

There's a saying that there are 3 types of people. They are:
  • There are those who make things happen.
  • There are those who watch things happen.
  • Then there are those who says what happened.
Vast majority of people are walking around wondering what happened. As we have moved from industrial age to information age. Knowledge is the raw material of production & value in this age. In society the difference use to be that those who had more and those who had less. Today however, the difference is those who know more & those who know less.

what are you doing to improve on this front, are you committed life long learner perhaps student for life?

Yes, guess there's a lot of people who only learn enough to get a job... or to do a certain thing.

I try to learn new things all the time (at the moment I'm teaching myself how to edit films, and how to mess up blog lay-outs :-) ), but I don't always have the time for reading like I used to...

Guess, the point is really whether people want to learn more/ improve... or whether they came to a stop when they reached a certain point, and figured 'that's enough'. Recently I came across several people in a blog asking why we need to investigate a certain science if we aren't going to use it, and if there's no reason for knowing it... I figure there's always a reason to know... just to know...

Thanks for your visit to Words that Flow... and for your comment (it's nice to know when someone stopped by... :-) )
