First, you have to evaluate and understand your capabilities. From there you have to learn how to downplay the negatives and focus on the positives. Then you have to learn how to nurture your passion so that the distractions and setbacks you encounter along the way do not defeat you.
There is no overtime in life, no going back onto the field for one last play. The lifestyle choices we make everyday truly determine the level of our performance, whether we remain a good prospect or become suspect. It’s up to us to make sure we’re choosing wisely.
